These clients were looking for extra assurance since the type of work represented significant departures from their regular operations. Depending on the workscope, Lucid provided 1 or 2 experienced engineers to review workscopes ranging from complicated well re-entries to choosing the best technology for remediating poorly performing wells, to ensuring well test objectives were met. The auditing of business processes were also undertaken, such as ensuring the correct internal assurance checks were in place throughout the project phases as well carrying appropriate contingencies and alternatives throughout the planning and execution of each work scope. The reviews were very focussed and typically conducted over a 1 week period with recommendations presented back to the project team at the completion of the review.
