Lucid Consultants have paved the way for future company expansion with the addition of three members to their management team. Managing Partners, Mark Adams and Davide Bruno, welcomed Manuel Pandavila, Stephen Thomas and John Walters as Partners in Lucid in July. “This is a significant milestone for Lucid” said Mark Adams. “Davide and I have steadily grown Lucid since the company was formed in 2004 and we now have fifteen top class engineers. Manuel, Stephen and John will provide the management support required to continue to grow Lucid in terms of number of engineers, clients and capability”.
Lucid’s capability profile now extends from Reservoir Engineering through to Well Engineering with a strong focus on Production Technology and Integrated Production modelling. Mark Adams is excited about the future for Lucid. “We are moving towards full field development capability and are in discussions with several companies regarding opportunities to take on the lead role in the development of some of their oil and gas fields. Our success is a result of our people and we intend to continue in this vein by building strong associations with companies offering the capabilities that complement our own”.
Mark adds “the shortage of skilled labour has been identified for some time now as a key risk to the continued growth of the petroleum industry. By offering training, mentorship and a variety of interesting projects we aim to keep our engineers enthusiastic about the industry, Generation Y and Baby Boomers alike. We believe the key is to engage our staff regularly and openly to ensure they remain aligned with management’s goal of quality and growth. It’s imperative a company walks the walk when it comes to these HR issues”.
