Using industry standard software: PROSPER (Petroleum Experts) Lucid can conduct a detailed study comparing the performance of various artificial lift technologies during the field feasibility study.

Once the technology is decided, Lucid can deliver a detailed design of the technology as well optimising daily production by monitoring the well performance.

  • Artificial gas lift: Troubleshooting unreliable or problematic gas lifted wells; retrofitting gas lift valves to increase production; optimising production from existing gas lifted wells; detailed design of new gas lift systems for platform and subsea oil wells.
  • Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP): Monitor and optimise existing ESP installations; detailed design of new ESP taking into account gas handling and solids production.
  • Hydraulic Jet Pumps: The detailed design of a jet pump system including power fluid and pumping requirements.
  • Multiphase Subsea Booster Pumps: Surface and subsea installations to reducing flowing well head pressures obviating the need for gas lift which can lead to flow assurance problems in certain circumstances (e.g. hydrates, emulsions)
